How to Report Online Frauds and Scams - List of Consumer Sources

Helpful Links For Fraud Security:

I came across a great list to report Online Frauds and Scams. I've recently started using Evernote; however it's helpful to keep a list handy and to share it with others because these days you just never know!

I remember back in 2008, my husband Joey and I were (get this) going over our online banking together. We were BOTH in front of the computer when *poof* went $800.00+ out of our account THAT WE DIDN'T SPEND!

We looked at each, looked back at the screen, looked at each other, looked at the screen and *poof* went ANOTHER $800 bucks and some change out of our bank account right before our very eyes.

Needless to say, WE didn't make the charges to something called "Home Depot Online." We called the bank, the police, the bank, the police in Pennsylvania where we discovered the Tracking Number on the deliveries were going to drop ship some fraudulently ordered products.

Very long-story short, even though we had UPS Tracking Numbers, address for a home delivery, AND our Bank Rep on the line with us, the police in Whatever County Pennsylvania said they couldn't help us at all because it was "complicated."

"Complicated because it's across state lines?" That's about the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I wanted the Po Po to be there and bust The Bad Guys when our ill-gotten gains were gotten!

They refused. The bank refunded all of our money. We changed all of our accounts and so far it hasn't to us again yet. Knock, knock, knock on wood!

It never hurts to know exactly to whom and where to turn in the event of fraud online.

According to the Experian Business Fraud White Paper, page 13: "...9 out of 10 Internet Fraudsters get away without prosecution."

Here's another great resource from ScamBook on Scribd: Scam and Complaints Market Report Q1 2012

Neither of the attached Docs are affiliates of mine.
I thought it was some helpful info and quite fascinating. I also needed an extra "...place for my stuff."

Bug Scares Puppy Dog - Bella Plays with a Cicada

About 7 minutes of our sweet Bella playing with a dying Cicada bug that wandered in after all the storms we've been having. I knew she wasn't going to pick it up. Bella's a big chicken. Her antics are amusing to us because we love that little dog SO much.

Don't worry about the Cicada. I put it outside near the big tree. Unfortunately, it was already on death's door.

Editing Family Photos in Picasa

Image of Mother and Daughter being edited with Picasa Photo Editor by Google

My beautiful daughter Heather just had another birthday. I was making her a picture video and realized I need a photo editor to get rid of my "neck wrinkles" -- used to use the Piknic editor, now I've swapped over to Picasa for general editing. It's quick and easy now that Piknic is no more and a LOT less time consuming than Lightbox and some others.

I like some of the pre-set filters in Picasa. Not too shabby for an old lady and her lovely now 20+ *cough* something daughter! The best part with Picasa is you just click and share straight to Blogger and others like G+.
